  • Here is some information about the types of tasks Ideal Rooms eliminates from the rental process.

    • Bills bills bills!

    Opening contracts with the utilities can be a long painful process. They often tie you to term contracts and they are not flexible, so if your circumstances change, you will still be liable to complete most contracts of usually 12 months although 18month contracts are fairly common these days too!
    We remove this hassle from you and you don’t have to go through the process of porting utilities from one property to another or paying large settlement fees to the utilities to end contracts

    • Council tax

    One of the most costly parts of renting a property.  YOu should expect to pay anything from £50-£180 a month for this tax when you lease a property on it’s own.  However, Ideal Rooms takes full responsibility for the council tax and ensure all payments are made allowing you peace of mind.

    • Property and Garden Maintenance

    This is one of the most common things people forget when they have their own place.  The upkeep of a garden and property repairs can be time consuming and costly and unbudgeted by most, comes as a nasty surprise.  Ideal Rooms takes care of all of the property’s timely upkeep to ensure you remain in a quality home.  In the event that a fault occurs, you just need to contact us so that we can put it right as quickly as possible for you.

    • Furnishing

    Nowadays, it is rare to pay a lower rent and expect a flat to be furnished.  If it does, it is rare to have quality or at least reasonable furniture.   At Ideal Rooms, we always provide complete beautifully furnished properties.  Typically, this saves an average of £2000 in start-up costs for your own place.

    • Appliances

    Many appliances are needed for a modern household and these can cost a small fortune too.  Cheaper rental properties often lacking these, meaning you have to buy what you need, a huge cash outlay.  Our homes are fully equipped with all the apppliances a modern home needs.  Furthermore, there are TVs, DVD players and other kitchen appliances saving at least £1500-£2000 in start up costs!

    • Phone Line and Broadband installation

    The installation of services such as a telephone line and broadband can take anything upto 3 months.  These will usually cost £120-£150 and contracts are typically 12-18 months. If you ever were to move on and miss payments for these, you can create a massive problem for your credit rating!  At Ideal Rooms, we have already set these up for all of our homes and we are committed to ensuring we always maintain the best service we can provide saving you the effort and major costs of installation.
